Shanghai Yuanhong Industrial Co., Ltd. is a China-based Textile Finishing Auxiliaries manufacturer focused on the final stage of wet processing. We supply liquid chemicals that change how a fabric looks, feels and performs after dyeing: raising and napping agents, water repellents, smoothing agents, antistatic finishes and functional protective treatments.
The range is built around production reality. Our products are designed to be dosed on conventional pad-batch, exhaust and stenter lines, to remain stable at processing temperatures, and to deliver consistent results from drum to drum.

Raising Agents: Recipe and Process Fit
Raising and napping are mechanical operations. The finishing bath prepares the fiber so that brushes and rollers open the pile uniformly without excessive breakage, static buildup or cloudy patches. Our raising agents are white emulsions with weak cationic/non-ionic character, a pH of 5.0 to 7.0 in 1% aqueous solution, and unlimited dilution in water.
- Padding: one dip one nip or two dips two nips at room temperature; recommended dosage is 10-30 g/L, adjusted upward for heavier constructions.
- Exhaust: 1-3% o.w.f. for 20 minutes at room temperature, then dewatering and drying.
- High-temperature resistance: the finish can be applied before stentering without affecting the shade or fastness of dyed fabric.
For Holland velvet, sanded velvet, loop pile and ice velvet, we match the grade to the pile construction and required hand feel, then confirm the dosage in a sample trial before bulk supply.
Water Repellency and Smoothing
Water repellent products in this category are intended for fabrics that require both a dry protective surface and an improved hand feel. YH-5288 is synthesized with Huntsman raw materials and suits most fibers, particularly woven cotton compact fabrics, where it adds softness, body and drape with water repellency. YH-5266 is positioned for wool, acrylic and their blends, and also works on cotton, polyester/cotton and linen where a smooth finish is required.
For restrictions on fluorinated chemistry, our Functional Textile Finishing Auxiliaries range includes fluorine-free water repellents such as YH-433, YH-5803 and YH-7566. The correct grade is selected by substrate, curing conditions, spray rating target and laundering durability.
Line Integration and Process Stability
All liquids are supplied ready to meter. Dilution in any proportion simplifies stock preparation, and the range is optimized for stability during stentering and curing. Typical integration points include:
- Pad trough dosing after dyeing and before drying or curing.
- Exhaust application in a winch, jet or soft-flow machine where padding is not practical.
- Automatic dosing systems with inline dilution; no melting or pre-emulsification is required.
- Pile-fabric sequences where the raising agent is applied, dried, then brushed or napped.
For a complete wet-processing chain, these finishes work after Textile Pretreatment Auxiliaries and Textile Dyeing Auxiliaries have prepared a clean, level substrate.
Quality, Safety and Compliance
Shanghai Yuanhong Industrial Co., Ltd. operates through subsidiaries including Zhejiang Yuanhong New Material Technology and Zhejiang Huafei Chemicals, with an organic synthesis factory in Jiaxing. Our in-house R&D covers raw material evaluation, formulation design, process optimization and quality control, and our patent portfolio includes raising and sanding specialty products and microencapsulated coating materials.
Our certification record includes OEKO-TEX, and we are actively working toward ZDHC membership. Standard packaging for finishing auxiliaries is 50 kg or 125 kg plastic drums; sealed drums can be stored for six months in a dry, cool and ventilated warehouse.
Information We Use to Configure Your Solution
Preparation of a suitable proposal starts with your production target and process line. Send us the following where possible:
- Fabric composition, construction, weight and shade, especially if dyed fabric must not change color or fastness.
- Target effect: pile density and hand feel for raising; spray rating and durability for water repellency; antistatic, antimicrobial or anti-pilling requirements.
- Application equipment: padder, stenter, exhaust machine, napping or sueding line; line speed and pick-up.
- Water quality, liquor ratio, drying and curing temperature.
- Compliance framework: OEKO-TEX, ZDHC, brand RSL or fluorine-free requirements.
- Trial quantity and drum size preference.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which textile finishing auxiliaries do you supply?
We supply raising and napping agents for velvet, flocked, loop pile and sanded fabrics; water repellent and smoothing agents for cotton, wool, acrylic, polyester and blends; and functional finishes including antistatic, anti-pilling, antimicrobial and moisture management products.
Can raising agents be used on dyed fabric?
Yes. The raising agents in this range are high-temperature resistant and do not affect the color or fastness of dyed fabric after application. We still recommend a lab or small-batch trial to confirm the effect on your specific shade and construction.
Do you offer fluorine-free water repellents?
Yes. YH-433, YH-5803 and YH-7566 are available as fluorine-free alternatives. We select the grade based on fiber type, curing conditions, required water repellency rating and washing durability.
How do you recommend the correct dosage?
We use pad and exhaust reference ranges, then adjust the dosage from your fabric sample. For raising agents, the starting point is 10-30 g/L by padding or 1-3% o.w.f. by exhaust, with final parameters confirmed through sample trials.
How are products delivered and stored?
Standard delivery is in 50 kg or 125 kg plastic drums. Sealed drums should be stored in a dry, cool and ventilated warehouse, where the products remain stable for six months.
