AI and Smart Manufacturing Gain Traction, Textile Dyeing and Printing Reaches "Smart Manufacturing" Turning Point

In May 2026, the 2026 China Zhejiang Textile Dyeing and Printing Industry Technology and Equipment Exhibition opened in Shaoxing, under the theme "Smart Dyeing & Printing · Green Future." The exhibition featured five themed zones covering the entire industry chain, including textile dyeing and printing technology and equipment, chemicals and dye auxiliaries, environmental protection and sustainable technologies, and intelligent manufacturing and automation. It was held concurrently with the Shaoxing Keqiao Textile Fabrics and Accessories Expo, achieving seamless upstream-downstream integration.

For example, Shaoxing Seshangfang Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. showcased its intelligent thickness and grammage tester, equipped with a multi-functional customized camera, intelligent computer motherboard, touch screen, and cloud platform AI agent, designed to solve the digital challenge of textile fabric texture.

The exhibition also featured multiple special events, including the "Green Smart Manufacturing · AI Empowerment" Industry Upgrade Matchmaking Conference and seminars on cutting-edge textile technology insights, providing replicable technical pathways and practical paradigms for the industry's transition from "manufacturing" to "smart manufacturing."
